Tournament Mode is active on weekends at 1:00 AM, 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM GMT. Rank requirements and time to next stage is on the Launch, Tournament Mode icon.
The PVP game mode to expect is Team Battle. Get good at Team Battle, and you'll be good at Tournament Mode.
You do not have to take a full set of ships. Only take the 1, 2, 3 or 4 ships you want to take. The ships you put on your platforms when you enter tournament are the only ships available for all three rounds.
Tournament consists of three stages. For each stage, you get a bonus to synergy and credits depending on the number of wins as well as a reward in Galactic Standards or loyalty vouchers.

2 Wins = +100%
3 Wins = +200%
