Haldon was discovered in the time of the first Precursor Sector expeditions. The system was virtually empty and did not deserve the attention, but a certain expedition discovered an abandoned outpost on the edge of the system. No external damage to the structures or signs of life were detected, as if the outpost had been abandoned in a hurry. The reason for this as well as the outpost's affiliation are unknown. Corporations have been sending mercenaries for years to occupy the outpost as an important strategic object close to industrial centre of the Federation, but the fierce fighting, as well as the proximity of the pirate Cartel fighters do not permit anyone to control it for long.
