What is the purpose of playing Tournament mode?
The PVP game mode to expect is Team Battle. Get good at Team Battle, and you'll be good at Tournament Mode.


What is the schedule for which Tournament mode opens and closes?
You do not have to take a full set of ships. Only take the 1, 2, 3 or 4 ships you want to take. The ships you put on your platforms when you enter tournament are the only ships available for all three rounds.


What ranks can be expected to enter it? What determines the ranks allowed?
Tournament consists of three stages. For each stage, you get a bonus to synergy and credits depending on the number of wins as well as a reward in Galactic Standards or loyalty vouchers.


Why does the Tournament mode button say ranks 7-9 so often?
0 Wins = +0%
 
1 Wins = +50%
Is it imperative to bring a full stock of 4 ships, or are 1, 2, & 3 ships equally adequate in this mode?
2 Wins = +100%
 
3 Wins = +200%
Does a player need to be joined with any sort of team like it is in Leagues mode?
 
Is this mode available for pilots who are not in a corp?
 
What happens after all requirements are met, and the player clicks Tournament mode button?
