| == Main Faction rank ==

| Your main faction rank is progressed by buying ships. To buy the next rank of ship, you need to earn enough [[synergy]] in one (not all) of the prerequisite ships and then spend the credits to buy it. Your main faction ranks determine which [[Implants]] are available to you. Each faction is levelled separately.

| Sub Factions are your various contract holders. Increasing a rank in a subfaction will unlock their blue MK III [[Ship Equipment|items]] for purchase in the shop. Subfaction rank is increased by gaining Loyalty, which can be earned by completing [[contracts]], from random loot drops and by logging in each day for 5 days.
