SPECIAL OPERATIONS

Intro

As the name suggests, this mode involves combat pilots that battle against large Alien ships, under the artificial intelligence.

Characteristic features

Team Size

For the mission to start, there must be a team of 12 pilots. A pilot can either queue as a single player, in a group or in a wing up to 12 players total. Each pilot can slot up to 4 ships but only take one ship into battle.

Mission details

There are only two missions that alternate every second day and only on Sunday they alternate every 2 hours. When active, the mission stays available for 2 hours and then goes into a cooldown period of 2 hours as well. The Alien Destroyer mission has 3 difficulty levels ranging from rank 7 to 15 (7-9=easy, 10-12=medium, 13-15=hard) whereas the Defiler mission only has one very difficult stage in which a player can participate with ship ranks from 11 to 15.

Recovering a downed ally

Special operations, or SpecOps in short, is a mode that does not offer an auto-respawn upon destruction of a ship. If your ally's ship is destroyed, you can recover it. For this purpose it is necessary to fly up to the wreck of his ship and purchase a duplicator with GS, or by using a duplicator from your inventory. If you are destroyed, you can recover your ship by purchasing a duplicator with GS or by using a duplicator from your inventory. Keep in mind that once all the individual player's ships, picked for the mission, are destroyed, the mission will end up a failure.
