Robert Artego was captain of the Northstar. He encountered a Bion, and began to explore and chart it. His ship, damaged in battles against aliens and then pirates, found an ancient service station orbiting Naberia-526. He hoped to make communication and request assistance, but crashed. The crash site was later discovered by mercenaries/raiders.
