In an arms race, science and pursuit of discovery always experience a sharp rise, especially when the field of research is the endless expanse of the universe. Recently, a careful scan of the deep space by the specially trained Jericho psionics discovered mysterious sector, complete with designs of unknown origin and purpose.
For a long time it remained known only to Jericho, but agents of the Federation were able to identify the location of the object thanks to the boundless greed of one of the families. Despite the high level of secrecy surrounding the operation, the Empire managed to intercept the scout drones of the Federation and decipher all the valuable information.
This sector is rich with unknown Precursor artifacts and buildings, so the abyss of space is lit up with the light of lasers and plasma charges.
All sides of the global conflict are carefully evaluating the mysterious buildings, scattered throughout the sector, trying to figure out their true origin and function.
