General information
Faction: Jericho
Class: Frigate
Role: Guard
Rank: 16
Description
This is a highly customisable ship obtained through crafting.
Craft ships are made from parts that can be assembled in the workshop. When creating a ship, you can configure the number of slots for each type of modifier (engine, capacitor, shield, hull, computer; maximum slots of one type are 3). Total distribution slots — 9.
This ship has pre-installed modifier slots: 1 engine, 2 capacitors, 3 shields, 1 hull and 2 cpu.
Guard ships are designed to protect their team from enemy missiles, as well as enhance the defences of allied ships. Guard ships feature strong defences and an enhanced Phase Shield.
The first ships of this type were seen in 4622 in the Solaris system under the banners of the Raid. The frigates weren’t responding to the contact requests, but they weren’t attacking first as well. A group of mercenaries attacked a lone ship on a dare. The attack failed: they couldn’t break the ship’s shield and in the course of counterattack the frigate destroyed the majority of the attackers, forcing them to retreat.
According to their stories, the ship’s pilot contacted them during the battle and offered them to confess before dying. Because of this, the frigate was codenamed “Confessor”, the name that was assigned to it after the first official publications about the ship. Soon after this, the UMC was approached by old contacts of Jericho, who offered to transfer a small batch of these frigates to the mercenaries in exchange for some information. Whether this is true or not is unknown.
Nowadays, a small circle of UMC pilots close to the Mendes family have indeed received ships for themselves, but they aren’t willing to make contact and share the details. It’s only known that Confessor control systems are extremely difficult to use, and this makes their use almost impossible without special implants. According to rumours, the UMC is working on adapting the systems to the needs of ordinary pilots, but there has been no visible success yet.
Unique ship equipment
Weapon
Weapon 'Sonex spear'
- Fires flaming bolts. The explosion of the bolt pierces objects for 550 m. If enemies struck by the explosion open fire, they deal thermal damage to themselves.
Active module
Front pyro emitter
- For a few seconds pumps a cloud of charged particles that then ignites and deals thermal damage to all ships in range.

Increases shield resistance to selected damage by 120 pts. When a shield absorbs damage of the corresponding type, it increases the damage of the guns by 15% for 5 seconds. When activated, it gives a 35% speed bonus decreasing over 15 s. The speed bonus is reset if the frigate opens fire or activates modules.

For every 4000 damage dealt to the ship's shield accumulates a charge which increases the shield resistance by 15 pts. You can accumulate up to 10 charges. Upon activation, it spends all charges to restore 600-10800 pts. of shield and gives a 35% bonus to speed decreasing over 15 s. The speed bonus is reset if the frigate opens fire or activates modules.
