General information

Faction: Empire
Class: Interceptor
Role: Recon
Rank: 16

Description

This is a highly customisable ship obtained through crafting.
Craft ships are made from parts that can be assembled in the workshop. When creating a ship, you can configure the number of slots for each type of modifier (engine, capacitor, shield, hull, computer; maximum slots of one type are 3). Total distribution slots — 9.

This ship has pre-installed modifier slots: 2 engines, 2 capacitors, 3 hulls and 2 cpu.

Recon ships must infiltrate the enemy ranks and locate their ships. A special module allows them to move around quickly. They also boast increased radar range and object capture speed.

Despite completing work on Cor Vulnus, Robert Sanderson did not abandon his research. The initial potential and modularity of the internal components allowed work to continue on upgrading the ship. Ultimately, what was initially a modification grew into a completely new recon interceptor.

By 4626, private Hugot shipyards had begun production of the first Cor Legibus series. Factory tests had already been conducted, and it was time for field testing. The UMC is currently negotiating the supply of a small number of ships for use by mercenaries. In addition, various security departments and scientific laboratories have expressed interest in purchasing the ship.

The Cor Legibus is an excellent new-generation reconnaissance ship suitable for long-range expeditions. The ship is additionally reinforced with equipment that increases its combat power, allowing it to repel most of the similar ships or even ships larger than itself. The ease of maintenance and repair of the ship is also noteworthy, which is undoubtedly an advantage in the chaos of the post-war world.

Unique ship equipment

Weapon

Cupid's arrow

Emits a targeting beam when fired. While the button is held down, a plasma charge flies in the direction of the beam. When the button is released, the charge explodes immediately. Hitting an enemy ship charges it with a static charge. If there is another enemy ship with a similar charge nearby, both of them will be receiving more damage.

Active module

'Angel's wing' jump

The ship teleports to an ally marked as the target. After teleportation, all incoming shield and hull regeneration will be increased.

Capacitor modifier

Resource redistribution contours

If the ship’s shield drops to certain point, its modules recharge faster. If the hull durability drops to certain point, the recharge bonus increases. You can place only one modifier.

CPU modifier

'Spear' guidance CPU

Increases the chance of dealing critical damage. Destroying an enemy increases the damage of the primary weapon. You can place only one modifier.

Manufacturing

Special module

You must select one of the following special modules. If there is one special module, you won't have to choose.

Description Energy consumption  Recharge
Accelerates the ship to a very high speed, by 2 seconds. Preparation the microwarp takes 1 sec. 56 en. 30 s.
The ship becomes invisible, invulnerable, and unable to move. Control is transferred to a hologram, which exists for 15 sec. The hologram can be destroyed by damage or collision. When destroyed, the hologram explodes, dealing 18000 electromagnetic damage and leaving a cloud of 1000 m. radius for 6 sec. in which camouflage and invisibility cannot be used, and all enemy ships are slowed down by 75%. After the hologram stops working, the ship receives a temporary 30% speed bonus for 12 sec. 100 en. 35 s.

Bonuses

You must select one bonus for each level. If there is one bonus on a level, you won't have to choose.

Rotation speed increased by 25%.
Strafe speed increased by 30%.
Maximum speed increased by 10%.
Effective range of "Recon modules" increased by 50%.
